Vice President of Operations
Sophia Puckett is the Safe’N’Clear Vice President of Operations. She has extensive knowledge of Inside Sales and Customer Service while working in all parts of the company. Additionally, Puckett coordinates and consults with the sales and marketing team. Her goal is to maximize social media interactions and reach. Puckett has been with Safe’N’Clear for many years and started the Deaf Leader Series. This series seeks to highlight the important contributions of deaf and hard-of-hearing leaders. Highlighting the diversity, equity, and inclusion challenges that Deaf people can face. Furthermore, she has a deep understanding of how mask use affects those with and without hearing loss/deafness.
As a CODA (child of a deaf adult), Puckett works to prioritize mothers-to-be who need clear face masks, like the Communicator mask. She believes clear communication is vital for prenatal visits and preparing for the safe delivery of their baby. She also assists parents who are looking for communication-accessible masks for their young children who are struggling with speech and language development.
You may see Puckett at some of the tradeshows and conferences when Safe’N’Clear is on the road exhibiting. Many of you know her by name when you call Safe’N’Clear. Fun fact: She is an excellent lip-reader!
Sophia’s key responsibilities at Safe’N’Clear include:
- Working closely with the President on leadership initiatives, including SWOT Analyses.
- Supporting the fulfillment team where she is hands-on with the training, ordering, and other operational processes.
- Developing and enhancing relationships with our customers by better understanding their needs.
- Working directly with customers daily and striving to exceed their expectations, specifically about our service and product.
Puckett holds a bachelor’s degree in communication with a focus on Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In her free time, Puckett enjoys relaxing with friends.
